Hi, I’m Valentin — founder of Filently.

For more than 15 years, I’ve been building software from the ground up. Along the way I’ve led teams, scaled platforms from hundreds to thousands of customers, and delivered multiple greenfield projects in different companies. A few years back I also ran my own startup — so I know both the excitement and the challenges of creating something from scratch.

Why Filently?

Like many others, I’ve always struggled with document chaos. Invoices, receipts, contracts — they pile up in the cloud but rarely end up where you expect them. After years of facing this frustration myself, I decided to build the tool I wished I had: Filently, an AI-powered way to bring order to cloud storage without the manual effort.

Note: Filently was previously known as Fileo. We rebranded in January 2026 to build a distinct identity in the document management space.

About me.

Previously, I served as CTO at BOTTIMMO, where we scaled the platform from 170 to 5,000+ customers. I’ve always believed the best products emerge when technology and people pull in the same direction. My strength lies in creating thoughtful architectures — frontend, backend, or the interface with AI — and turning complex systems into something simple and delightful to use.

What’s next.
